BTC Human Services Corporation, also known as Indian Child & Family Services, was established in 1993 following extensive community consultation. Its mandate is to provide child and family services to on-reserve residents.

BTC was the first Tribal Organization in Saskatchewan to develop a delivery plan and negotiate an agreement with Indian and Northern Affairs Canada and Saskatchewan Social Services for the transfer of authority over and responsibility for the delivery of these services.

The goal of the Human Services Corporation is to maintain and strengthen families to prevent children at risk from being placed in foster care. When it is necessary to move children to an alternate care resource, the aim is to expedite a case plan for reuniting these children with their natural families.
